That's the way to Kleiner's Lab. Pretty neat huh??
This chapter is fairly straightforward. A lot of time is taken up in scripted sequences so the actual combat time is fairly brief. Follow Alyx through the building to get to Dr. Kleiner's Lab. Once there, feel free to mess around and have some fun with HL2's advanced physics. Soon you will witness the Lemarr hilarity. Once Barney comes through, he opens up the room where our HEV Suit is kept.

Seasoned players will recognise the original Half-Life HEV-suit music that is played at this point. Kleiner then starts explaining about the changes he has made to the suit, but ends abruptly with the ominous sounds of the Combine somewhere outside.

Dr. Kleiner will direct you to charge your suit at the Charging Station on the wall. These (and the medical equivalent) can be found throughout the game to replenish your health as in the original. Continue into the adjacent roomafter Kleiner has finished with the eye-scanner where Dr. Kleiner gets ready to teleport you and Alyx to Dr. Vance's lab in Black Mesa East well outside the bounds of City-17. Of course, as always, the experiment is being tried for the first time.

You meet up with some old friends at Kleiner's Lab.
Dr. Kleiner starts the experiment and begins making some adjustments. Reconnect the power cable which loosens up during the first try and throw the switch to teleport Alyx. You can see that Alyx got teleported in one piece to Eli's Lab. Now it's your turn to get into the chamber and wait for Kleiner to start the process. As expected, Dr. Kleiner's pet headcrab, Lemarr turns up to spoil the occassion and you get teleported to different locations, including Dr. Breen's office (which in turn puts the Combine on full alert).
