Eternal Silence Map Media Release!

The Eternal Silence mod team have released some impressive looking screenshots of their map es_aethrap. The UTF Destroyer is also shown in action against opposing ships. The release date for Eternal Silence 3.0 coupled with a funky trailer is due to be released in the very near future, so watch this space!

Left 4 Dead Media Assault

With the release date closing in (hopefully) new Left 4 Dead content has been coming at us every which way. Featured here are three new GameTrailers videos in glorious HD. The first is an interview with Doug Lombardi in a bar, of all places. He discusses the games development, current stage, and Valve's hopes and plans for the game. Interspersed throughout are some new gameplay videos which can be viewed in full in the second and third links. Enjoy. Jurassic Life Media Update

Jurassic Life; the Source mod based on the award winning film Jurassic Park, has released a new media update. Their update showcases some of their vegetation modelling, and of course, the Velociraptors Enclosure! No magic word required to check out the rest of the media update!

Another Team Fortress 2 Update

Valve have released another update for Team Fortress 2 to fix an array of bugs and problems: Team Fortress 2 Fixed several issues with the Family Practice achievement. Players with 10/10 progress that have not been awarded the achievement will get the achievement the next time they UberCharge any Steam friend Fixed toggle-fire option for the Medigun preventing players from earning the Second Opinion achievement Fixed The Kritzkrieg not charging faster than the Medigun Fixed issue that was preventing players from using their new Medic items on some servers Fixed melee weapons not being affected by The Kritzkrieg's critboost Fixed Server Browser sometimes refreshing in the background on startup when it wasn't visible Restart your Steam Client to apply this handy update!

Portal: First Slice and Steam Games Re-Launch!

Portal Demo Now Available For All!! For those of you who have yet to discover the genius of the puzzle game Portal, Valve have made their official demo by the name of Portal: First Slice available to all Steam Users. The demo contains a healthy 11 levels of the game, so if you've yet to try Portal, check it out. In other Steam News, the Steam Games Front has been re-launched to "to better showcase the growing number of titles and publishers on Steam". This all of course coincides with the release of abstract shoot-em-up Everyday Shooter.
